Introducing
the Sea Ventures
Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures Courses

Do
you enjoy wreck diving? •
Deep diving? •
Underwater photography? Do you wish you could stay down longer? Are you limited by your gas consumption or no-decompression
limits? If you answer
YES to any or all of these questions, you should consider taking the
Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures combined courses. In this combined course, you will learn: • Proper gear configuration for diving doubles • How to plan and execute decompression dives • Techniques for carrying stage bottles • Proper gas planning and management • Use of Nitrox mixtures up to 100% for decompression • Safety drills and emergency procedures and
a whole lot more! What this course can do for you The U-352 off the North Carolina coast lies in 115 fsw. A typical recreational dive on this wreck would limit you to only 13 minutes of bottom time using air or just 20 minutes of bottom time using EAN30. That’s not much after you’ve spent a couple hours getting out to the site, not to mention the cost of the dive charter.
Let’s make your time and money go a little
further . . . Let’s say we want to do a dive on the U-352 for 40
minutes instead. Sounds
pretty good, right? It’s simple.
We’ll dive EAN30, and deco on 100% oxygen. We’ll have 40 minutes
at 115 feet, a total decompression time of only 16 minutes, and a total
run time of 56 minutes. That’s 40 minutes at 115 feet, and we’re out of the water in less than
an hour!
The only other thing we have to ask ourselves is if
we have enough gas supply to do the dive.
Take this course and learn how to determine whether you have
enough gas to conduct the dives you plan. Upon completion of this course you will be able to
. . . •
Obtain Nitrox mixes up to 100% •
Carry and manage one deco bottle •
Confidently plan and execute decompression dives. Advanced
